*FMJ* currently recruits dedicated mature FPS gamers. Our current recruitment age limit is 21 years old. We are looking for passionate gamers seeking a long term home. We pride ourselves in expert infantry fps gameplay, teamwork, squad play, and communication.
Our members average in age from 25-35 years old but we have members much older and much younger.
Voice communication is mandatory in *FMJ*. You are expected to keep voice communications on our Ventrilo voice server on a regular basis. The content on our voice servers is NOT appropriate for players under 21 years old. Children, family members, and friends should NOT be exposed to our uncensored voice transmissions. Idle in the afk quiet areas when you are not around to show support.
Server Donations: Monetary donations are optional but required if you cannot invest time into the websites content, production, upkeep or significant idle time in our public servers. Idle time is the currency of the poor around here. Noone exists for free. For the cost of a fast food meal you can meet a reasonable obligation to your home server and in the process get administrator access to our servers. The servers depend on member and public donations to survive. Donate what you can when you can. Every little bit helps. If you can not afford monetary dontations you will be expected to invest other time or services to the group. We expect every member to make some type of noticable investment. There are a number of needs that the organization has and it takes alot of time and effort to maintain our operations.
We expect members to visit and interact on the webpage at reasonable intervals. Please post extended afk situations in the forums to get placed on the reserved roster instead of getting discharged for inactivity.
We expect a time contribution to support our own servers before visiting other community public servers. Members that frequent non *FMJ* public servers may be subject to discharge. We allow roaming about and playing around. MOST (90%+) of your time should be with your squad mates and in support of your own community servers. If you don’t like our servers or don’t carry a good connection to the west coast you are discouraged from enlisting as this directly affects your participation with the clan.
Support *FMJ* public servers and only *FMJ* public servers. As already stated, your primary time contribution should be to our own public game servers. Members abandoning our servers when empty or after a server crash will be subect to discharge.
You will use Ventrilo voice communication at ALL times when online gaming. Lone wolves or players that merely stop in from time to time to fill their obligation may be discharged.
Recruitment process. To proceed you must post a thread in this forum with the following questions answered: A response will be offered as soon as possible. We know you are anxious for an answer, but please allow up to 72 hours for a detailed response. Remember ventrilo is the way to find us. No voice server=little to no contact and no chance of joining.

About Us:
Full Metal Jacket was formed in 1999 playing the original Counter-Strike. We now have 50+ active members across the US and Canada. *FMJ* is a multigame clan currently playing Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Team Fortress 2 among other titles. We are anxiously awaiting the releases of Call of Duty 4 and Frontlines Fuel of War.
We have hosted top ten ranked FPS servers consistently since our founding in 1999. We currently host the number one BF2 server in the world and the #11 2142 server globally. We host our own dedicated server on premium hardware for the best gaming experience possible.
We made our name in CS BF1942 Desert Combat and 2142 competition winning at the highest levels the community has to offer. Members participate in organized events at their own discretion. Private match play is not mandatory but highly recommended.

Setup a Hotkey that u are comfortable with (this the key/button on your keyboard that u will use to transmit/talk to us).
Select input and output device accordingly to what audio card u have if any, if not select direct sound device
Select Microphone for Line
Test your transmission using the Test button in the bottom left. Adjust volume,inbound, and outbound to fit your needs, u may have to do some final adjustments once u have connected depending on how u sound to others
After u have done all that which should only take u 5 minutes max exit the setup menu.
Click on the Server button at the top and add the FMJ ventrilo server info
Name:FMJ
hostname/ip: 72.37.185.10
Port: 3793
Exit this menu
Select FMJ in the server dropdown menu and Connect to it
